PREPSOILThe Hubs4Circularity (H4C) Community of Practice, a network of public and private stakeholders from industries, regions, and cities, aims to facilitate building and scaling up and replicating ecosystems of industrial and industrial-urban symbiosis, and circular economy.

Project financed under the Horizon Europe Programme of the European Union, 2022 – 2026

Highlight

Hubs4Circularity is inviting all interested parties working on industrial symbiosis and Industrial Urban Symbiosis to join their community to discover resources, opportunities and events through one single entry point. In its first year of implementation, H4C Community has created the first version of an impressive Knowledge Platform which will help practitioners to identify projects, peers, available knowledge on diverse topics related to Industrial Symbiosis. ACR+ is participating in the initiative by leading a Panel of Cities and Regions that will provide feedback on the tools, methodologies and deliverables developed by the project.

{slider THE PROJECT}

Hubs4Circularity are socio-technical ecosystems for full scale industrial symbiosis, industrial-urban symbiosis and circular economy closing energy, resource and data loops at regional scale. They are an important building block for achieving the climate neutrality targets by 2050.

Become part of the European Community of Practice for Hubs4Circularity which connects actors from industry, regions and cities, H4C initiatives, and research and development organizations who are interested in sharing knowledge, experiences, tools and materials to progress faster towards industrial and industrial-urban symbiosis and circular value chains.

{slider ACTIVITIES}

Two consortia with complementary strengths and expertise, H4C Europe and H4C ECoP, are behind the H4C Community of Practice. Together, they will develop a set of key performance indicators for Hubs4Circularity as well as define business models and promote funding and finance opportunities to boost industrial and industrial-urban symbiosis, and circularity.

As a member of both consortia, ACR+ will contribute to setting up and consulting a panel composed of cities and regions interested in industrial urban symbiosis (I-US). As enablers of I-US, cities and regions will have the opportunity to provide input and feedback to the tools and deliverables of the project, ensuring their relevance for the stakeholders. As a network organization, ACR+ will also have an important role in community building and dissemination activities through its members.
