Financing circular economy (27 January 2017)

Organised in the framework of the Circular Europe Network, this webinar introduced complementary financial instruments that can support the implementation of circular economy and examples of their implementation. More specifically, the webinar presented the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) and the success factors for an efficient combination with other EU financing instruments, in particular the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF). Specific EU non-financial support tools for project proposals were presented. In addition, the webinar showcased examples of cooperative banking initiatives supporting circular economy as well as a regional case of circular economy investment strategy.
