Enhancing soil health through citizen engagement

The PREPSOIL Mobile App invites organisations, initiatives, research centres, universities, and communities working on soil improvement to collaborate and create quests on the platform. By engaging citizens to upload images of soil, provide details about soil structure, or describe common soil issues in specific areas, these quests aim to gather valuable insights and expand knowledge on soil health across different regions. Interested parties can contact PREPSOIL at info@prepsoil.eu to initiate their first quest and contribute to this collaborative research effort.

Launched as a free digital solution, the PREPSOIL Mobile App offers an interactive space for citizens to learn about soil health and contribute their observations to the work of various institutions. The app features resources such as the PREPSOIL Knowledge Hub, updates on soil health, and opportunities to participate in quests. This initiative not only supports researchers by providing real-time observations from citizens but also fosters a community focused on increasing soil literacy and tackling soil degradation. The app is available for both iOS and Android users, enabling widespread participation and engagement in soil health initiatives across Europe.
