CRIC | Call for experts on climate resilient and inclusive cities with mission in Indonesia
Do you know the main challenges of South East Asian cities with regard to climate resilience and sustainable materials management? Have you ever worked with cities and regions on the development of tools to support local decision making processes? If answer is yes then this call is for you!
ACR+ is currently building a roster of experts to contribute to the implementation of the EuropAid CRIC - Climate Resilient and Inclusive Cities project activities. The project aims to foster sustainable integrated urban development, good governance, and climate adaptation/mitigation through cooperation between cities and research centers in Europe, Indonesia and other countries from South East Asia.
To complete our roster of experts, we are looking for profiles with demonstrable experience in developing tools to support local decision-makers in planning action plans for resilience and sustainable management of material resources. Previous experience working with the CRIC project pilot cities (or cities with comparable characteristics) is considered a key asset.
The first action we will require from the selected experts is attendance to the 1st panel discussion taking place in Surabaya, Indonesia, 1-4 March 2023 (per diems and full coverage of travel and subsistence costs according to EU and CRIC projects funding rules).
Subsequently, in the first quarter of 2023, ACR+ will issue a call for tenders and invite shortlisted experts to submit their proposals for the implementation of a local decision support tool for sustainable materials management and resilience in the CRIC project pilot cities.
If you are interested in applying to be part of the ACR+ expert roster, please fill in the application form by 6 January.
