Cities and regions invited to join new circular economy communities of practice

The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) has launched a call for cities and regions to join its new Communities of Practice, offering a unique opportunity for local and regional authorities to collaborate on advancing circular economy solutions. These dedicated working groups will bring together practitioners from across Europe to exchange best practices, tackle common challenges, and co-develop actionable solutions in four key areas: urban planning for circular economy, municipal waste companies for circular cities, supporting local circular businesses, and reducing consumption-based emissions.

Selected participants will benefit from structured peer exchanges, practical collaboration, and tailored support through flexible, online-based interactions designed to fit local priorities. Cities and regions interested in joining these Communities of Practice have until 28 March 2025, 18:00 CET to apply.

For more information on the topics and how to apply, visit the CCRI website.
