AI-powered solutions driving circular procurement forward

ACR+ was a guest speaker at the third Follower event of the Horizon-funded CircularPSP project, titled "From Concept to Prototypes: AI-powered Platform Advancing Circularity" The event gathered industry experts, policymakers, and innovators to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance circular procurement. CircularPSP focuses on developing an AI-driven information system to help contracting authorities transition to circular procurement processes without requiring prior expertise. ACR+ contributed by presenting its work on public procurement, highlighting the C-PRONE initiative and the Circular Minds project as key opportunities for collaboration. 

The event also featured presentations from the project’s solution providers VCG.AI and CircularAI, who showcased their circular economy tools designed to support contracting authorities. These AI-driven solutions aim to simplify procurement by providing streamlined access to best practices, data, and collaboration spaces, ultimately making sustainable purchasing more accessible. With testing phases for these tools on the horizon, CircularPSP continues to drive innovation in circular procurement, offering practical AI-powered solutions for public sector buyers.
