During their second online meet-up, members of the Built Environment Area will discuss good practices regarding two of the topics selected by the group: public procurement for construction projects and circular construction materials. External experts will join the meeting to present good practices, tools and strategies applied at regional and local level.
Some of the practices to be featured:
- Provincial Centre for Sustainability and Innovation, Westerlo, Belgium (Kamp C - BE)
- Guiding local authorities to implement circularity in the construction contracts (Region Sud - FR)
- Redevelopment of an industrial site into a material bank (Nokia - FI)
- Circular bioeconomy initiative for the construction sector (Friesland - NL)
