14:00: Welcome & Intro
14:05 – 14:45 – Relevant case studies
- Consumer communications targeting beauty packaging | Speaker (tbc), CITEO
- Extended Producer Responsibility & ecodesign measures for bathroom glass | Laura García, Technical Director, Ecovidrio
- Evolution of glass packaging design for recycling in the beauty sector | Corrado Ferrozzi, Head of Business Unit for Perfumery & Cosmetics, Stoelzle Glass Group
14:45 – 15:25: Discussion
The main topics:
- Are consumers / citizens sufficiently aware that bathroom glass should also be collected with beverage and food glass? Is there evidence that bathroom glass ends up outside of the separate collection system for glass?
- Is packaging that is consumed in the bathroom disposed of differently to the one consumed in the kitchen?
- Is bathroom glass more complex packaging than beverage / food glass in terms of design (more materials, more colours, more shapes…)?
- As bathroom glass is a small sector in terms of volume, can it drive the uptake of recycled content? Is the market evolving in that direction?
15:25 – 15:30: Conclusion
