ACR+ member AMIU has introduced a new service dedicated to the selective collection of textile waste in the Municipality of Genoa and all municipalities in the Genoa area. The new service, which will deploy over 100 containers in the Genoa area and 219 in the Genoa municipality, has been entrusted to Humana People to People Italia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the collection, sorting, and recycling of clothing, textiles, shoes, and bags. 

 

These containers, identifiable by their orange colour and distinctive graphics featuring a heart next to a T-shirt, symbolise Humana Italia's social mission in the reuse, recycling, and energy recovery of clothing. At the same time, AMIU has launched a new communication campaign by distributing dedicated brochures in mailboxes for this type of selective waste collection.
