INDICATORS FOR MONITORING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) IN AN EU CONTEXT

This document presents the EU SDG indicator set, developed by the European Commission to monitor the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in an EU context. This EU SDG indicator set received a favourable opinion by the European Statistical System Committee at its meeting on 17-18 May 2017.

This document provides the policy background for the indicator set, describes the process to develop it, outlines its main characteristics and informs on the next steps.
