During this event organised in particular by ACR+ member Nantes Métropole, international experts have the opportunity to exchange and learn about innovative and concrete action on material resources, territorial planning, energy, forest, agriculture, transport, water, etc. One of the forums held during the summit is specifically addressing circular economy.

This forum gives an opportunity to take stock of a series of actions implemented or planned at international level in a 3-years roadmap. The roadmap was elaborated and discussed by the members of a Climate Chance coalition on circular economy, co-piloted by ACR+, CEMR and Orée. This coalition aims to create synergies between the various actions planned or already implemented on circular economy and climate change around 4 axes: awareness raising; exchange of good practices and capacity building; methodology and evaluation; and policy recommendations. Participants to the summit are invited to give their comments and contribute to the roadmap, available on the Climate Chance website. The roadmaps are aimed to be assessed and re-evaluated on a regular basis, as the actions will be implemented and more contributors will join the coalition.

The roadmaps of the 16 different coalitions have been synthesized by 2 Climate Chance ambassadors and UN's 2016 'climate champions’, Moroccan minister Hakima El-Haite and France climate ambassador Laurence Tubiana, who will carry the message to the COP22 in Marrakech. At the end of the Climate Chance summit, the first Climate Chance Summit declaration will be adopted with the view to carry the voice of non-state actors to the COP22.
