For the eighth year, ACR+ member the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) is organising the Apilo XII competition, which aims to promote the selective collection of batteries among the educational community and families of schools in Catalonia in a fun and participatory way. In the last edition, a total of 49,831 kg of batteries were collected in the 695 registered schools. For this new edition, schools that wish to take part can register from 7 November 2022 to 27 January 2023, and be eligible for one of 5 prizes for the purchase of school and/or sports equipment or educational activities.
