The recycling competition promoted by ACR+ member Government of Navarra has in a reduction of the mixed municipal waste by 5% in the over 180 towns and villages that took part. As a result, the volume of waste going directly to landfill has been reduced. In addition, there has been a 7% increase in the collection of organic matter and a 3% increase in the collection of packaging. To conclude the competition, the winning localities will receive prizes in the form of street furniture made from recycled waste.
