The project " Rolha a Rolha Semeia a Recolha" has already started in the municipality of Vila do Conde. This project has been developed by Quercus, ACR+ member LIPOR and its associated municipalities to encourage cork recycling and contribute to reforestation in Portugal. The project has enabled the creation, at this stage, of a door-to-door collection channel for non-residential users (restaurants, cafés, event farms, etc.). Currently, more than 20 HORECA establishments have already accepted the challenge and it is expected that, by the end of the awareness campaign, there will be more than one hundred participants adherent to the project.
