A total of 183 municipalities in Navarra will take part in the second edition of the inter-municipal recycling championship promoted by ACR+ member Government of Navarra. This year the number of participants has doubled, and the focus is on the residual waste, that is the waste that ends up buried in landfill sites. In Navarra, 150,000 tonnes of residual waste were produced in 2021. The average number of kilos per inhabitant collected during the campaign period is yet to be obtained. It will be this data, together with correct waste separation, which will allow one or more localities to win.
