The Department of Rural Development and Environment of ACR+ member Government of Navarra has approved the distribution of the Waste Fund for the year 2022, consisting of EUR 5,143,275 from the tax on landfill disposal and incineration of waste and fines resulting from waste infringements. These funds are distributed annually in accordance with criteria of prioritisation, compliance with objectives and environmental urgency with the aim of allocating them to the granting of subsidies to local authorities and waste management companies in the areas of household waste, non-hazardous industrial waste, and construction and demolition waste. Most of the funds will be used to award subsidies to local entities and companies for the management, transport, recycling, prevention, reuse and recovery of waste.
