Barcelona (ACR+ member ARC) and ACR+ member Lisbon both joined the Winter Campaign launched by Green City Makers - a global civic movement to fight against climate change - to prevent the most iconic symbol of Christmas, the natural Christmas tree, to end up on landfills. Participating cities bring forward a set of options for the farewell natural Christmas trees deserve such as wood chips, compost or re-planting.
