ACR+ member Comunidad de Madrid is going to increase by 69.3% the grants for the management of urban waste in its southern region, which includes 71 municipalities, so that they can meet European obligations regarding the proper functioning of separation and recycling infrastructures. To this end, the Governing Council has authorised the allocation of EUR 1,250,542.85 for actions carried out in this area during the year 2021, more than two thirds higher than that granted in 2020.
