By 2020 all of ACR+ member Madrid’s 1.6 million households and 3.2 million inhabitants will be sorting their organic waste.
 
After starting in a few pilot districts in the frame of the H2020 SCALIBUR project, Madrid City Council is now rolling out the service in record time. Collection is carried out daily from communal or street bins across the city.
