On the occasion of the release of the new Sector-based Synthesis Report of non-state climate action, Climate Chance held its Climate Chance Talks from 1 to 4 December 2020 to debate, the main trends observed in this 3rd edition of this Synthesis Report issued from the Climate Chance Observatory. ACR+ joined the talk dedicated to waste to discuss if the Covid-19 accelerated or hampered climate strategies in the waste sector. Watch the recording here (in French).  

Climate Chance’s Global Sector-based Report analyses the failures and successes of climate change mitigation and adaptation actions implemented by local actors in 2019-2020. It follows the dynamics and weak signals observed in the main emission sectors: energy production, transport and mobility, buildings, textile and steel industries, waste management and circular economy, land use.
