The annual EWWR Awards Ceremony took place on 25 June online to celebrate the most outstanding awareness-raising actions on waste reduction implemented in November 2019.

Following the inspiring welcome speeches by EU Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius, ACR+ Secretary General Françoise Bonnet and Kata Tüttő, Deputy Mayor of Budapest and Member of the European Committee of the Regions, the 16 EWWR finalists presented their projects and the EWWR Jury awarded six prizes, one for each action category.

For the first time in an online format, the ceremony did not fail to create the usual cheerful atmosphere thanks to the enthusiasm of the participants.
