On 10 and 11 February, the ACR+ team was in Amman to conduct a training session addressed to public officers working for Jordanian Ministries. The training session was organised under the SWIM-H2020 project.

The event focused on topics ranging from green growth strategies to the implementation of action plans, as well as the development of new business models in this field and the processes, indicators and tools necessary to support decision-making. Passed in February 2017, the National Green Growth Plan (NGGP) evinces a clear vision for Jordan as a country with an expanding and sustainable economy that creates jobs and income for its citizens; contributes to achieving social inclusion; and is resilient to external shocks and instability in the region. Nevertheless, turning   green growth from concept into practice has always presented organisations with capacity challenges and continues to do so. Project Cycle Management (PCM) approaches and expertise are thus suitable to ensure the sustainability performance of decision-making.
