The Circularity Living Tracker, commissioned by ACR+ member Zero Waste Scotland, offers national insights into sustainable habits as Scotland's Circular Economy Bill progresses through parliament. The tracker assesses public understanding, behaviors and attitudes towards the circular economy, focusing on practices like recycling, reuse and reducing consumption. The initial results mark the beginning of an annual study to monitor shifts in attitudes across various lifestyle areas related to a circular economy.

The findings reveal that while individuals desire more government involvement, they also acknowledge their own role in fostering sustainability. Most people exhibit a limited but established "repertoire" of circular behaviors, primarily centered around recycling, heightened awareness of food waste, and using reusable bags when shopping. The report emphasises the need to broaden this repertoire, with a particular focus on expanding reuse behaviors.
