ACR+ member the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) has taken significant steps to promote the circular economy by opening a call for proposals aimed at private companies and associations. In total, EUR 5 million will be allocated to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy in Catalonia. The primary goals of these initiatives are to enhance resource efficiency and decouple overall economic development from resource consumption. 

  

Furthermore, a recent resolution has been published, adding EUR 970 000 to the funding pool for projects utilising recycled aggregates from construction waste. These projects are to be carried out by local authorities and municipal public enterprises in Catalonia.
