The European Week for Waste Reduction annual celebration, the EWWR Awards Ceremony, celebrates the most outstanding actions related to waste reduction organised during the EWWR. This ceremony rewarded actions held in 2019. This time, it took place online on 25 June.

Opened by Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, the EWWR celebrated the most impactful and inspiring waste reduction initiatives organised during the EWWR 2019. You can learn from the 16 shortlisted finalists about their actions carried out in November 2019 and get inspired to take action yourself!
