The awareness-raising campaign “No more cigarette butts on the ground!” continues in 2022, promoted by ACR+ member AMIU in collaboration with the Municipality of Genoa, the Italian National Tobacconists Federation and Surfrider Genoa. After the Municipio Centro Ovest, it is now time for the Municipio V Valpolcevera in the neighbourhoods of Teglia, Bolzaneto, Pontedecimo and San Quirico to combat the degradation caused by cigarette butts thrown on the ground. Environmental informants will distribute practical pocket ashtrays in participating shops.
