In order to respond to the current social and environmental challenges, the Brussels-Capital Region is starting its transition towards a local, circular, social and democratic economy. To launch the movement, ACR+ member Brussels Environment, Brussels Economy Employment, Innoviris and hub.brussels are inviting regional economic players to the symposium "The economy of tomorrow - What challenges and opportunities in the economic transition of the Brussels-Capital Region?”, that will take place on 23 November.

Moreover, Bruxelles environnement will organise the workshop "Sustainable and Circular Procurement: Feedback to identify barriers and success factors" to discuss the barriers and success factors in tendering and implementing circular procurement. The session will start with an introduction to sustainable public procurement, followed by vendor-buyer dialogues and ending with a participatory workshop.
