Odense 80px

To hand over items that are too good to be thrown away, citizens in ACR+ member Odense have the possibility to deposit them in a container named Container 27 which is then brought to Zirkel, a reuse and upscaling shop. To be found at all civic amenity sites, the container has lately been given a makeover. Not only it displays a new color, recycling messages and nice graphics, but cages have been installed inside for objects to stand so nothing breaks during transport. To avoid that most of the items are left behind and sent to incineration, Container 27 is now taken to the common warehouse in Zirkel once full, where items are sorted and put-on shelves. After that, humanitarian organisations can collect the items for free and sell them in their recycling shops, just as some of the items are sold in Zirkel's store.
