On 04 May, the EU-funded project “Research and knowledge building on sustainable infrastructure projects through stakeholder engagement” organised the workshop "Sustainable infrastructure projects under the Recovery and Resilience Fund (RRF) – what guidance is needed?", in collaboration with the European Commission. ACR+ joined a roundtable discussing the barriers and drivers of sustainable procurement for large infrastructure projects, bringing the point of view of decentralised authorities.

Through this project, the European Commission wishes to develop a Guidance to support national authorities in implementing major infrastructure projects receiving recovery funding subject to public procurement, especially in the context of the EU Green Public and infrastructure projects receiving additional financing under the reinforced EU Budget.
