Hundreds of participants virtually attended the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference during its first digital edition on 3 and 4 November. On the first day, plenary discussions focused on the European Circular Economy Action Plan and on making sustainable products the norm Eight thematic sessions took place on the second day, including two workshops co-organised by ACR+ and its member OVAM/Circular Flanders and involving partners from ProCirc and LCA4Regions projects. Shortly before the event, ACR+ has been confirmed as member of the coordination group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform.

The first workshop focused on on circular procurement and more specifically the 3 steps of the process (pre-tender, tender and post-tender). The recording is available here. The second workshop on circular cities and regions demonstrated how it is possible to go beyond waste management indicators. It highlighted some monitoring frameworks and their relation with policy making and showcased the results of the first phase of the More Circularity Less Carbon campaign. The recording is available here.

More information about the event and recordings can be found on the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform website.
