Bruxelles Environnement Horizontal New 80px

Every year, nearly 130,000 tonnes of food waste are incinerated in Brussels. This waste is really just a name because, if properly managed, and depending on the recovery techniques used, it can be transformed into a lively compost, into energy or even into heat that could benefit the people of Brussels. Sorting is good, but avoiding waste is even better! In Brussels, 19 kg of food is wasted per year per inhabitant. This is why ACR+ member Brussels Environment is offering you the chance to take part in two free online workshops that will take place at various times between June and July: "Getting organised to reduce waste" and "Improvising with leftovers to reduce food waste".
