Rechargeable batteries are omnipresent in our modern society: smartphones, laptops, electric bicycles and electric or hybrid cars are just a few applications that would be inconceivable without rechargeable batteries. Often, at the end of their (first) life, these batteries can be reused in all kinds of secondary applications.

Bebat and ACR+ members OVAM and Brussels Environment are looking for projects that focus on reuse and second life of rechargeable batteries (modules and cells). Their aim is to identify and stimulate circular and innovative projects, to encourage different players to cooperate, to share and gather knowledge, expertise and technical know-how. The deadline for project submission is 30 April 2021.
