To give women access to products that are healthier for their bodies and for the planet, ACR+ member SYBERT is setting up a subsidy for the purchase of washable sanitary protection, such as washable cups, menstrual panties and sanitary towels. The subsidy is set at 50% of the purchase price of the protection and is limited to a maximum of EUR 50 including tax. In the SYBERT area, sanitary protection, such as tampons or pads, represents 216 tonnes of waste per year and therefore as much non-recyclable waste, according to SYBERT estimates.
