The ACR+ member Brussels Environment organised the final conference of the Buildings As Material Banks (BAMB) project from 5 to 7 February 2019.

The three-day event was very successful, with diverse activities linked to industry, demolition waste and research and development in innovative technologies and methodologies in the built environment. The first day focused on the Industry and offered the possibility for a large diversity of stakeholders to intervene during the parallel sessions of the day. On 6 February, the consortium organised a study visit to the Circular retrofit lab, one of the pilot project of BAMB. That day, as well as the following day, also saw numerous research activities. As part of the SBE2019 Conference Series, about 77 research pitches divided into seven main topics, ranging from business models to design to waste and resources management, took place during the two days.

More material will soon be released on the project website.
