Starting in May 2019, ACR+ will facilitate its members’ access to materials and news about resource efficiency in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) thanks to our new partnership with the European Resource Efficiency Knowledge Centre (EREK). The collaboration entails mutual promotion and exchange of good practices.
 
EREK is a new European initiative that makes available tools and information to enable SMEs to make better use of their resources, produce less waste and increase their overall productivity and competitiveness. Via its online platform, it brings together a network of business support organisations from different regions and sectors across the continent.
 
Some of the tools include a self-assessment tool, a database of almost 500 good practices, workshops and a document library. We encourage our members who work in collaboration with SMEs to make use of these materials, which cover a wide range of sectors and are free of charge, and to inform the companies in their territories about them.
