Wrap

ACR+ member WRAP is among the finalists in the Government, Cities and Regions category for the Circulars Awards. WRAP’s submission was focused on its Products and Services programme of work. The Sustainable Clothing Action Plan (SCAP), the Electrical and Electronics sustainability action plan (esap), and the pioneering Resource Efficient Business Model (REBus) project were highlighted as a great examples for contributing to the circular economy. Other finalists in the same category are the Scottish Government, organisations from China, Canada and South Africa.

The Circulars is an initiative of the World Economic Forum and the Forum of Young Global Leaders and is the world’s premier circular economy award programme. Entrants to the awards are leading the way in driving innovation and growth that is decoupled from the use of scarce natural resources. The awards will be presented in a ceremony at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2017.
