To encourage waste separation, ACR+ member The Hague municipality is going to construct underground waste sorting streets at various places. A waste sorting street is a series of underground containers for glass, paper, textile and plastic packaging, cans and drinking packages.

Since 20 May 2019 the contractor is investigating where the underground waste sorting streets can be placed. Once the investigation is completed, the municipality will prepare a plan containing a proposal for the location.
