Whether it is in Slovenia, Spain, France or Denmark, inert waste from industrial processes and the construction sector is particularly difficult to manage. It is generally sent to landfills or transported long distances for management. Great efforts are made to reduce and/or recover inorganic waste, applying the principles of circular economy. However, ensuring quality guarantees for this type of waste and normalizing its use is a real challenge. This is why, the six partners of the INERTWASTE project decided to join forces to improve the management of inert and/or inorganic waste and promote the circularity of resources for construction and industrial processes. You can follow their journey by visiting the website and subscribing to receive INERTNews twice a year. The first issue is already out, have a look at it to discover the first steps of the project.
