ACR+ organised two partner events at the 2023 edition of the EU Green Week, focused on the topics of skills for sustainable, resilient and socially fair communities.

The LCA4Regions project hosted its final event showcasing good practices on improving impact-driven policies. The conference was an opportunity to celebrate LCA4Regions partners collective efforts, and to share and discuss lessons learnt about the adoption of regional policies aimed at a more efficient use of natural resources to reduce the non-desirable secondary effects (spill-overs) that generate negative economic and environmental impacts.

In the framework of the Green Sports Hub Europe project and with the support of ACR+ member Zero Waste Scotland, the event 'Greening sports for achieving participative and contributory circular communities: skills and know-how for getting there' not only looked at challenges and solutions for sustainable sport, discussed potentials for increased cooperation, peer to peer support and learning and the role of formal education and relevant institutions in providing appropriate skills, but also presented some of the project's key outputs. This event was also an opportunity for ACR+ to highlight its work in the fields of tourism, sports and culture, researching behaviour, observing habits and subsequently exploring and testing various circular economy solutions to be applied by cities and regions.
