Even during Summer, ACR+ team does not have a rest… We have been preparing for four new projects starting in the coming weeks. Three of them are funded by the Interreg Europe programme.

EURE (Effectiveness of Environmental Urban policies to improve Resources Efficiency), led by ACR+ member Eixoecologia, aims to support the better allocation of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to the improvement of environmental performance management of EU urban spaces, including the urban areas of low population density.

LCA4Regions (Improved Environment and Resource Efficiency through use of Life Cycle Instruments for implementation of regional policies of the European Union), led by ACR+ member Government of Navarre, aims to contribute to more effective implementation of environmental policy instruments by the application of Life Cycle Methodologies.

SmartWaste (Innovation in Waste Management Policies) project, led by the new ACR+ member Tuscany Region via its Resources Recovery Regional Agency, will propose interregional solutions to address policy weaknesses based on the evaluation of how current national, regional and local policies have promoted successful innovation in waste management.

The fourth project, funded by the LIFE programme, is LIFE-REthinkWASTE (Rethinking municipal tariff systems to improve urban waste governance).  It will combine and compare the use of Pay As You Throw (PAYT) with the Know As You Throw (KAYT) approach. ACR+ will work on this project together with its member the Catalan Waste Agency.
