Between 05 and 07 February 2019, the ACR+ team took part in a mission in Israel in the framework of the SWIM – H2020 Project.

The team, supported by two high-level experts, coordinated trainings and workshops in Jerusalem at the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry for Environmental Protection (MoEP).

The focus of the first day was on Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) in support of the MoEP’s development of a new CDW strategy in Israel.

During the second day, participants explored the market build-up issue in order to better understand the key barriers and drivers to closing the production-consumption-waste loop in the construction and demolition sector. On the last day, attendees worked on developing potential solutions for glass recycling. The MoEP staff showed motivation and lively interaction throughout the mission, sharing inspiring experiences with the experts.
