newsletter INTHERWASTE logo In the framework of the INTHERWASTE project, ACR+ and the cities of Cordoba – represented by ACR+ member SADECO – Porto, Tallinn, Ibiza, and Krakow have recently uploaded on the INTHERWASTE website some of the best practices they have exchanged in the past three years.

These practices are related, for instance, to Promotion of separation in the organic fraction in Cordoba, Bergen underground waste collection system, Compacting waste bins in Ghent, Public reuse and repair centre in Nice, Removable Mobile Bin Areas in Palma de Mallorca, Painted waste containers in Cordoba, Packaging deposit refund system in Estonia, as well as Reusable deposit system cups at public events in Tallinn.

The practices were selected due to their proven success in the regions where they were implemented and their potential of replicability in other regions. The project’s “good practices” section is linked to the INTERREG Policy Learning Platform, which feeds a wider pool of knowledge accessible to public authorities.

More INTHERWASTE best practices will be uploaded in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
