ACR+ continues to follow the developments concerning the interpretation and implementation of the recommendations includedin the Waste Framework Directive (98/2008).
The ACR+ Annual General Meeting in 2011 was devoted to the implementation of the Framework Directive at the local and regional level in Europe. An international conference was organised together with the City of Genoa (Italy), on 26 - 27 October 2011. Related to the accounts from ACR+ members, the conference programme addressed the great challenges of the implementation process.

The first day of the conference ended with the inauguration of the Genoa waste museum - Museo della "Rumenta".

The ACR+ Annual Statutory General Assembly took place on the 27th of October in the afternoon and was an open event.
During this event, the Board of Directors was renewed, in conformity to the article 13 of the Statutes of the association.
